If you are going to write a simple text page and you don’t need any columns or special page arrangements you don’t have to enable Visual Composer. It’s perfectly fine to just start typing or paste text into the ‘Classic’ WordPress page editor like you would if Visual Composer wasn’t setup on the website.

Adding a new page in WordPress does not automatically make it show up in the main menu bar or dropdown menus of your website. Once you have created a new page as above if you want people to find it you will need to either:
- send them a link to the page they can click on
- add the page to the WordPress navigation menus
- add a link to the page in the content of another page such as a text or image link
