If you would like to add a text link to a page in WordPress its really quite simple, first you need to highlight the text you want to make into a link and then click the chainlink icon in the toobar. This is a link to a page.
Highlight text and click the link icon
Type or paste in a link including the http://
Or click the arrow to view a list of your pages
Select a page and the link and title will be added
Now you have a text link to another page
It’s good to use keywords and be descriptive with your links. Creating a link called read more does not help a person nor a search engine to know what is on the page they are about to click on.
